Safety first! Just like in an airplane, every boat is equipped with life jackets for all passengers. For added comfort and safety, we offer optional comfortable bouyancy aids to be worn on the boat. Wearing a life jacket on the river is strongly recommended!

Waterproof 60L bags keep your things dry.
Each boat has a waterproof 60-liter bag for your belongings. This keeps your food, clothes and towels dry - except during a long submersion. It is better to pack valuables such as electronics separately, just in case!

Start and end points of your tour
All our tours start in Stein am Rhein, at the Hettler parking lot right next to the small harbour. From there you have two routes to choose from:
Route 1: Stein am Rhein → Diessenhofen-Gailingen (DE)
Duration: approx. 2-3 hours

Route 2: Stein am Rhein → Schaffhausen
Approx. 4-6 hours
Special features: The classic - more varied scenery
Arrival: Official exit point in Schaffhausen at the Schaffhausen Canoe Club. Google Maps Link.
The classic trip is from Stein am Rhein to Schaffhausen, but the shorter option to Diessenhofen-Gailingen (DE) is also very popular. The duration of the trip depends heavily on the daily water level. Our team will inform you about the daily conditions. Stein am Rhein, Diessenhofen-Gailingen (DE) and Schaffhausen are very well connected to the public transport network and are easily accessible from all over Switzerland and Germany.

Of course, water has its pitfalls, which is why there is a recommended minimum age and you and your fellow passengers should have some swimming skills.
